Song of the Day:
Ooh, I bet you're wond'rin' how I knew
'bout your plans to make me blue
With some other guy you knew before
Between the two of us guys you know I love you more
It took me by surprise I must say
When I found out yesterday
Dontcha know that I

Heard it through the grapevine
Not much longer would you be mine
Oh I heard it through the grapevine
Oh I'm just about to lose my mind
Honey, honey yeah
(Heard it through the grapevine)
(Not much longer would you be my baby, ooh, ooh, ooh)

I know a man ain't supposed to cry
But these tears I can't hold inside
Losin' you would end my life you see
'cause you mean that much to me
You could have told me yourself
That you love someone else
Instead I

Heard it through the grapevine
Not much longer would you be mine
Oh I heard it through the grapevine
And I'm just about to lose my mind
Honey, honey yeah
(Heard it through the grapevine)
(Not much longer would you be my baby, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)

People say believe half of what you see
Son, and none of what you hear
But I can't help bein' confused
If it's true please tell me dear
Do you plan to let me go
For the other guy you loved before?
Dontcha know I

Heard it through the grapevine
Not much longer would you be mine
Baby I heard it through the grapevine
Ooh I'm just about to lose my mind
Honey, honey yeah
(Heard it through the grapevine)
(Not much longer would you be my baby, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)

Honey, honey, I know
That you're lettin' me go
Said I heard it through the grapevine

I got an offer on my house last night. We aimed high asking for $142,000, and ended up with a bottom line of $139,000. But that was AFTER teh sellers had asked us to pay $4000 in closing costs, and $5000 in general upkeep/repair costs. so they inflated their offer to include that, and their offer was $148,000. Again, that is $9000 that I'll never see anyway. So bottom line is $139,000. The only real sticking point is that they want in by May 6th. They're willing to push out to May 13th, bt they want in to fix it up, so they can turn around and rent it in June.

So now I have to figure out where we'd go if that be the case. I have a few options, but the clock is now ticking, and it's time for me to get my stuff together. the snowball has started down the hill, and I will soon be on my way to Washington.

I'm aining for July 1st, though depending on how thigns go at home and at work, it could be earlier or later. The latest date would hopefully be August 1st. Wow... it's right around the corner.

So to celebrate, here is a picture of Adriana Lima.

What, too small a picture?

ANd it's not even your birhtday.

We have a new pope now. THis means absolutely nothing to me. for me, it's just another guy in between me and God. I have no use for middle men. I did wonder who Jesus would want as pope, and hten realized that as a Jew, he wouldn't have a vote in the matter.

Jesus: middle management.

Daily update writer: hell bound. but in a nice wicker handbasket, and a pretty bow!

I saw this bit on a website the other day:

The lightsaber is a perfect physical manifestation of a person's anger. It represents the white hot fury that one feels inside boiling your blood, and the cutting destructive power of a persons rage. In the case of the bad guys, its use s generated from their own hate, fueling their actions. It also allows a person to give into that want or need to just beat the crap out of something and destroy it out of your own anger and pain. When you are angry enough, your anger becomes almost tangible...it is just beyond the realm of something that you can touch and see and taste. You can certainly feel it, but you cannot touch it. The lightsaber is the embodiment of that feeling, and it provides the perfect vessel for those emotions...a weapon capable of cutting through anything and everything. Or anyONE. And in the case of the bad guys, it's blood red.

I want a lightsaber. I want to fight with two lightsabers. And I want a blood red one, too.

That is some amazing thoughts.
